John's Plans for Ingham Farm

John, having grown up in cattle country in Colorado, has little experience with Vegetables. His plans to expand ingham farm include refining what is grown after year one to what grows best during the initial season. He also plans to venture with pork, cattle, goats and rabbits raised for meat.

During the 2025 season, John is most excited to see how the Tomato and Pepper  varieties hold up, and being of Irish decent, potatoes too of course. He also plans to harvest catfish from the spring and farm trout as well, and create a trail network to harvest wild game around the mountain.

With his background in marketing and digital outreach, John plans to use Ingham Farm to showcase the hard work that goes into homesteading, even on a smaller scale of 7 acres, and bring awareness to the commercial food industry which he believes is a contributor to many of the health problems across the US today. The goal being to show those who have a dream of sustainability and clean eating, but don’t believe they can do it themselves, that they in fact can.
