Ingham Farm | Organic Eggs & Heirloom Veggies

Welcome to Ingham Farm

About Ingham Farm

Nestled at the foot of Gum Springs Mountain in Sparta, Tennessee, Ingham Farm  is a family-run homestead dedicated to sustainable growing, natural preservation, and Southern community traditions. Home to a flowing spring, rich Appalachian soil, and a growing collection of historical artifacts, our farm is more than a place to grow — it’s a place to connect, remember, and restore. We raise our crops and animals the old way — chemical-free, respectful of the land, and with a deep appreciation for the people who came before us.

John & JoBeth Ingham moved from Texas to Sparta, TN in 2024 with a dream of sustainability and clean eating while they started their family, and getting involved with local bartering, as well as selling the surpluss of their production at low cost to families looking to eat clean, but being unable to do so with the rising cost of living we’re all experiencing.

What We're Producing

Eggs

Pasture Raised
We are raising our pullets on a completely organic, soy free diet and they are pasture raised. This means the eggs they produce will have great flavor, color and nutritional content since they can forage naturally any time they like.

Vegetables

Organically Grown
Our first year in operation, we have planted an amazing variety (maybe have gone overboard) to see what our land likes best. Our crops are grown in accordance with the highest organic standards, more so than most grocers carry, but are not certified organic. We do not plan to certify our produce as organic, as we are able to keep the cost low for those we sell or trade to.

Fish

Wild Caught
After we bought our land, we discovered a crawfish claw in our spring, cave and creek section. John set traps and caught enough to feed four people over one night, while also getting a couple of catfish that hopped into the crab pots with them.

Fruit

Organically Grown
Tomatoes, Blackberries, Blueberries and Cherries are what we chose this year, and we will add on Peaches, Apples, and more in the future.
